2011 – 2016 Practice-based PhD, Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London. Research title: A feminist dialogue with the camera: strategies of visibility in video art practices. Supported by an Arts and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Studentship.

2013 – 2014: AHRC collaborative Film Training Scheme with University College London and Open City Docs to undertake documentary and archive film footage training in visual ethnography.

2009 – 2010 MA by Independent Study on screen dance and video art at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. Supported by an Arts and Humanities Research Council Research Development Studentship.
